Haints and Haunts of Charleston

Charleston is one of the world’s most charming cities, but beneath the genteel exterior lies a city weathered by the ravages of time, war, disaster, tragedy, and death. Relive tales of souls long departed, learn about long-gone burial customs of the 18th-19th centuries, and hear Gullah folk tales related to spirits and the afterlife on this 90 minute walking tour. You’ll visit one of the most haunted restaurants in the country, hear the story behind the most well-documented ghost photograph in the US, and much more. You may not believe in ghosts now, but tell us how you feel after you take THIS tour! Please note: while your guide will take you to many haunted buildings and graveyards while on tour, we do not enter into any buildings or cemeteries on this tour.
